These fantastic patterns appeared on our conservatory windows one morning earlier this week. To good to miss, I took the opportunity to take a few shots using a 60mm macro lens on the Olympus EM1 Mark II – and a tripod.
All backlit with natural light from the garden – and tweaked ( a touch ) in Lightroom Classic CC.
A fading rose, frozen into a block of ice.
I changed the water in our garden birdbath this morning – and found these amazing patterns in the ice!
All taken on the Olympus EM-1 with a 60mm macro lens and a tripod. There’s a lot of ‘noise’ in the first couple – the ISO was much too high – but the last one is much cleaner!
It was cold this morning.
These are patterns created by ice crystals on the roof of my car!
