Wild Flowers

There was a time when, if you wanted to see a profusion of wild flowers, us Brits would be forced to travel deeper into Europe – Switzerland, probably, for the ultimate flower meadow / mountain experience.
Now, presumably because of changes in our use of weedkillers and pesticides, many of our fields and open spaces boast amazing carpets of home-grown wild flowers.

This shot was taken along the cliffs at Westcliffe, Bournemouth – probably my last offering from that weekend away.
Probably – but not definitely 🙂

  1. I love wild flowers 🙂 Makes any field look better in my opinion and gives color to any forest!
