Brentor, Dartmoor

This is the Church of St Michael ( the local Parish church, apparently ) on top of Brentor, towards the western edge of Dartmoor. What a beautiful place!
The weather was not as kind as it could have been for our visit – a typical mixture of rain and gusting wind, but with the occasional break in the clouds and a few moments of sunshine.
I must go back!

  1. Thanks, Calee.
It is indeed a superb place – but fairytale? I’m not sure about that. It had a slightly eerie, spookie feel to it – and I guess that would change depending upon the weather conditions at the time. A covering of fresh snow would alter it completely!
But you’re right – that dark sky does a lot for the shot.
    Cheers,
    John
